Yosemite National Park is the most popular national park with millions of visitors coming from all over the world to view this spectacular scenery found here.  If you want to spend more than a day exploring Yosemite National Park making a reservation at the Tenaya Lodge is spectacular choice. The lodge is located just outside the park, allows pets and is an all around joy any time of the year.

Tenaya Lodge was built in 1990. The 244 rooms at the lodge are decorated with Native American patterns, colors and artwork. The central sitting area at the lodge has high ceilings, a huge fireplace and comfortable leather chairs.  Tenaya Lodge has many winter activities so when you visit here between the months of November-April you will find fewer people but just as many activities, a plus on both counts!

Tenaya Special Packages

For outdoor adventure look into the Snowshoe Hike Package.  This package is popular a popular way to explore the magnificent sights of Yosemite. Snowshoe hike packages begin with a guided evening hike through the surrounding Sierra National Forest and ends with a warming bonfire replete with s'mores and hot, warming beverages. The Snowshoe Hike Package is available January 3 through March 31 for $159/night.

For that special Valentine the following packages available year include the Quintessential Romance Package and the Signature Spa Package (available January 3 – March 31).  Both of these are available just in time for February 14 (hint, hint!)

Tenaya Lodge Accommodations

Each guest room features thoughtful amenities and comforts that will relax and welcome you. The warm atmosphere of Tenaya Lodge's guest rooms and suites is created with earth-toned wall coverings, wood trim, rustic artworks, warm lighting and bedding featuring channel-stitched duvet covers with matching shams and skirts.

Large, high-sided and overstuffed chairs dressed in native fabrics offer the perfect relaxation following a day on the trails. All of Tenaya's rooms feature individual climate control, AM/FM clock radios, direct dial telephones with message alert and voice mail, coffee makers, irons and ironing boards, remote control cable television with Nintendo and movies to order and in-room safe. Guest amenities include all-natural ingredients and eco-friendly packaging. Fully equipped accommodations for physically challenged guests are also available.

Cottages

Just a short walk from the main lodge, Tenaya's rustic cottages offer the benefits of a more secluded escape with Tenaya's signature amenities and services. It's perfect for families and those who want a little more privacy with features like fireplaces, private balconies, refrigerators, microwaves, televisions and more. In nearly every cottage you'll find:

The Cottages at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite are set back in a wooded setting with an indoor pool and spa, racquetball court, and even conference space for a family reunion or small meeting.

The grounds at Tenaya Lodge & Cottages reflect the ambience of the pine forest in which they are situated. Care was taken in building the cottages so that many of the native Ponderosa Pines, Firs, Sugar Pines, Maples and Oaks were preserved. The beds and border gardens are created in a manner that enhances this native landscape.

Details count in our gardens - as you will see in the billowing moss baskets of annuals and perennials that festoon numerous lamp posts spread throughout the property.

Standard Room

Standard rooms are our first level of accommodations. They are very similar to the deluxe rooms but may have less preferred views or locations.

Perfect for families needing a bit more space, our Extended Double Deluxe gives everyone a place to relax. With all the features and amenities of our Deluxe Room, the Extended Double offers an additional 75 square feet of living space, a pullout sofa bed and private balcony or patio. The Double Deluxe is one of the lodge’s best values, a larger room with two double beds and a sitting area with a sofa (some that pull out into beds), plus a balcony for enjoying the fresh Sierra mountain air.

Luxury Suite

The peak of guest accommodation at Tenaya Lodge is the Luxury Suite, an interpretation of a luxuriously appointed Manhattan flat with Sierra Alpine décor.  The living room features a full wet bar with refrigerator, large dining room table, large overstuffed couch that folds out into a sofa sleeper, remote controlled cable television and private balcony.   The bedroom area features a second television, walk-in closet and a distinct dressing room.  The Luxury Suite also offers an extra large bath area with a soaking tub separate from the shower.
