When you stay overnight at Yosemite National Park you have a few options for lodging. You can stay at a hotel-type of lodging, cabin, tent camp or car camp.

Getting the Yosemite reservation you want can be a dog-eat-dog event. Reservations are required year-round for all Yosemite Valley's car campgrounds and summer through fall for Hodgdon Meadow, Crane Flat, Wawona, and half of Tuolumne Meadows. Think blocks as camping reservations are available in blocks of one month at a time, up to five months in advance, on the 15th of each month through the National Park Reservation System. The busiest months are May through September and for some other weekends reservations are filled the first day they become available. So plan ahead for your Yosemite vacation! All other campgrounds are first-come, first-served basis.

Yosemite hotel reservations should be made 10-12 months in advance to ensure you get the lodging you want. Yosemite in park accommodations include:
