Pahaska Cabins offer a variety of lodging options for any size family. All rooms at Pahaska are located in cabins situated around the property surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. Pahaska Cabins are located between the confluence of the North Fork and Middle Fork of the Shoshone River. Rooms at Pahaska Cabins are modestly furnished, have private baths, heat, and telephones.

Cabin Amenities:

 

The 1 Queen Standard room is located in our quad A-frame cabins. The rooms feature 1 queen size bed and a shower bath. These rooms cannot accommodate a rollaway bed.

 

The 2 Queen Standard room is located in either our duplex A-frame or multiple room hill cabins. The rooms feature 2 queen size beds, and a full bath (some units have a bathtub only). These rooms can accommodate a rollaway bed.

 

The 3 Queen Standard is an upstairs unit featuring one bedroom with 1 queen size bed, a second bedroom with 2 queen size beds, and a shower bath. This unit cannot accommodate a rollaway bed.

 

The 2 Queen & 2 Twin is an upstairs unit featuring one bedroom with 2 queen size beds, two additional bedrooms containing a single twin size bed in each, and a shower bath. This unit cannot accommodate a rollaway bed.

Deluxe 1 Queen Rooms are located in the front cabin and are nice single queen bed rooms, modern bathrooms with tub/showers.

 

Our 1 Queen Suite is a private cabin, fully accessible with 2 connected rooms, one with a hide-a-bed, the other with a queen bed, fully accessible bathroom and shower with a small porch.

 

Frame rooms, with the exception of facing out toward the Northfork of the Shoshone River. Each room has 2 queen size beds, a full bath, and enough room to accommodate a rollaway bed.

 

The 1 King Jacuzzi Tub units are located in our honeymoon cabin. Many couples have spent special nights in this spacious cabin with its wood floors, new king size beds, Jacuzzi tubs, and high log ceilings.  The large porch makes a nice place to enjoy the mountain scenery while watching squirrels and other plentiful wildlife nearby.

 

The Housekeeping Cabin has a full kitchen including plates, pans and stainless ware, modern bathroom with tub/shower, two queen beds, and a small porch.

 

The Reunion Lodge is a spacious two story modern condo with fireplace, TV, full kitchen, Jacuzzi, and wet bar [with 2 or 7 bedrooms it sleeps from 8 to 22.] The reunion lodge makes a great base for large groups or corporate retreats. Check out the Reunion Lodge page.

 

 

The Deluxe Condo features 2 second story bedrooms with 2 queen size beds each, 3 bathrooms, a full kitchen, laundry room, a large furnished living room, fireplace, big screen television with satellite reception and DVD player, built in stereo system, card table, large furnished deck with barbecue, and Jacuzzi hot tub.

There is a 2 night minimum for renting these units & a 6 month cancellation policy detailed on the lodging page.

Trail Rides:
Our experienced wranglers are familiar with the forest trails which stretch for miles in every direction, great with horses and people too! They have several favorite trails which, in a short time, can have you high on a mountainside or in a lush mountain meadow. Our horses are gentle and surefooted enough so that the young or inexperienced rider can share the enjoyment of a ride through wilderness scenery along the wild game trails of the Shoshone National Forest. An early morning ride is a great time to see the wildlife. Plan on an early dinner and go for an evening ride. A cool, relaxing trail ride is a great way to leave behind a hot day in the car. (Available June - August)

Gifts / Souvenirs:
Gift items include close to 300 individual gift-shop vendors bringing in items like chainsaw carved bears, animal figurines, Fimo, pocket knives, music, pottery, and many Yellowstone souvenirs. We specialize in rustic mountain cabin items like tepee lamps, placemats, special Indian pottery, hat and coat racks, wildlife Afghans or blankets, cookie jars, framed wildlife prints, wall clocks, and crystal wildlife pieces.We make a special effort when buying authentic handmade Zuni and Navajo Indian Jewelry and fetishes. We are very particular which traders we will work with as many lines are ridden with foreign knockoffs of Indian designs, complete with mock signatures and authentic looking fake acrylic stonework. This is a very big problem in the industry and we recommend buying only from a reputable shop.

Room Amenities

 

Each of the rooms located in cabins have modern heating systems with quiet circulating hot water heat. With our cool mountain air daily temperatures in the 70-80's and nightly temps in the low 40's, A/C is seldom necessary. Each guest room has queen beds and telephones service, hard to find in our remote mountain setting. All of our 2 queen rooms can facilitate a roll-a-way bed to increase their occupancy; make sure to reserve yours with your reservation.

Cancellation Policy:
We charge a 50% deposit at the time of the reservation. You will receive a full refund less 10% of the deposit. The Reunion Lodge and Deluxe Condo have a minimum cancellation fee of $100.00 if cancelled with 6 months notice.  If you do not cancel in the allotted time you will forfeit the entire deposit. Rooms will be held until 7 p.m. on the date of arrival. Late arrivals must call on the day of arrival to hold rooms after 7 p.m.  No charges apply for rescheduled reservations if changed at least 24 hours prior to arrival date.

Restaurant:
At Pahaska Tepee we take pride in our good food, fast service, and quality atmosphere! Our Lodgepole dining room offers a wide variety at reasonable family prices. The Native American and wildlife decor, log beams, fireplace, and picture windows looking out on the surrounding mountain peaks, combine to make dinning with us a special experience.

The Tepee Tavern has full bar service from an antique bar dating back to 1872. We have beer on tap, imported and domestic wine, and package liquors are available. Enjoy cocktails before dinner in the historic Tepee Tavern or warm up with a hot espresso drink after out on the snowy trails.

Fuel Station:
Gasoline, diesel, and automotive products can be purchased at the gas station as well as ice, sporting goods, and groceries (during the summer season). Clean public restrooms are available for travelers and tours.
