Mormon Lake Lodge | Coconino National Forest

 

Located in northern Arizona, Mormon Lake is a beautiful body of water, surrounded by part of the largest group of Ponderosa Pines in the world.  The Coconino National Forest is home to endless miles of wilderness in which to explore, camp, hike, bike, and to simply enjoy the great outdoors.  The Mormon Lake Lodge sits on 300 acres of remote mountains, but is conveniently only 30 minutes southeast of Flagstaff, and 2 ½ hours north of Phoenix.  Indulge yourself in the fresh air, open spaces and gorgeous scenery while you relax at this beautiful property.

Roundup Rooms
There are 8 Roundup rooms, and they are divided into 2 buildings. The buildings are motel-style and share a common deck. Each room contains 1 queen size bed and a coffee maker, and will sleep a maximum of 2 people.

Robber's Roost Rooms
There are 6 Robber's Roost rooms, and they are in two 3-plex buildings. Each room features one double bed, a coffee maker, and a deck. These rooms will sleep up to 2 people and are fully ADA accessible.

Pine Ridge
The Pine Ridge rooms are duplex units. There are a total of 4 Pine Ridge rooms, and each features a dinette table and chairs, two queen beds, coffee maker, full bath, and front deck. Each room will accommodate up to four people.

Pine View
The Pine View rooms are duplex units spread throughout 3 buildings for a total of 6 rooms. Each room offers a dinette table and chairs, 2 queen beds, a kitchenette with two-burner stove, a compact refrigerator, and a coffee maker. These rooms also offer a gas log fireplace and a shared deck. Each will sleep up to four people.

Babe Haught Cabin
The Babe Haught Cabin is located in the trees on a hill just across from the lodge. It is a rustic cabin with a queen bed in the bedroom, and a double bed and full size sofa sleeper in the living room. It features wood floors, a bathroom with shower, dinette table and chairs, kitchenette with gas oven/stove, compact refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, gas log fireplace, and covered deck. This cabin will accommodate a maximum of five people.

The Babe Haught Cabin is only available from May through November.

Oak Grove Cabin
Each of the four Oak Grove Cabins contain one queen size bed, a full sofa sleeper, dinette table and chairs, coffee maker, kitchenette, and private patio. Each cabin will accommodate up to four people.

Zane Grey Cabin
The Zane Grey is a 2 bedroom cabin that is located across from the main lodge on a hill. It features 1 queen bed in the first bedroom, 2 sets of twin bunk beds in the second bedroom, and a full size bed in the living room. This cabin also features a kitchenette with gas oven/stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dinette table and chairs, bathroom with stall shower, wood floors, a gas log fireplace, and deck. It will accommodate up to six people.

The Zane Grey Cabin is only available from May through November.

Elk View Cabins
The Elk View Cabins are six cabins that have an open floor plan with a queen bed and full sized sofa sleeper. They feature a kitchenette with microwave and coffee maker, large picture windows, wood floors, and a private back deck facing the woods. These cabins will accommodate up to four in each.

Forest Court
The Forest Court features 16 motel-style rooms. These rooms face an open courtyard with picnic tables that look out on the woods. Each room provides one full sized bed, a coffee maker, and a shared deck. Each Forest Court room will accommodate up to two people.

Forest Court- All 16 cabins
Forest Court consists of 16 motel-style units arranged in a U-shape which are facing an open courtyard and the woods beyond. Each room contains one full sized bed, a coffee maker, and a shared deck, and will sleep up to two people.

Rollaways and cribs: $5.00 per night. Rollaways are permitted in certain units only.

With prior notice, pets are allowed in some units. A $20 per pet per day fee will apply.

Two-night minimum stay is required on weekends (Friday - Saturday) during the summer season. A 3-night minimum applies on holiday weekends.

5 days prior to arrival for the season except on Holidays. Holiday reservations require 30 day cancellation notice and a 3 night minimum stay. If notice is within 30 days the full amount of the stay will be charged.
