Palmer Gulch Resort

Palmer Gulch Lodge features 62 rooms in the finest Black Hills lodging tradition. Deluxe accommodations include rooms with two double beds or one king size bed, premier rooms with balconies or patios, and suites with fireplaces and kitchenettes. All rooms are equipped with cable TV, phones, and data ports. Lodge guests enjoy the use of all resort facilities including swimming pools, hot tubs, sauna, activity programs and free nightly shuttle service to the Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse Mountain night lighting ceremonies (limited seating, reservations required). Other services offered include a restaurant & lounge, Black Hills and Custer State Park tours, horse rides, water slide, mini-golf, shopping opportunities and more.

Lodge Rooms:
These rooms offer two double beds or one king size bed and are equipped with a full bath. Each room is equipped with A/C, heat, free coffee, phones, data ports, cable TV, and original art. Second and third floor rooms have a walkout balcony and first floor rooms have a patio. Each unit sleeps two to four people.

Queen Suite:
This is a two-room suite. The bedroom has a queen size bed and full bath. The living rooms come with a queen size sofa sleeper, dining table and chairs, and a kitchenette with microwave, sink and half size refrigerator. The Queen suite adjoins with the King Suite (rented separately).

The Palmer Gulch Cabins are popular facilities in great demand. Thirty secluded cabins, varying in size from one bedroom to three bedroom deluxe, nestled among the Ponderosa pines, provide you with the privacy of being in the woods, along with the amenities of a full-scale resort. Cabins are equipped with modern bathroom facilities. Featuring fireplaces or wood burning stoves, and log or knotty pine walls, many have screened porches, kitchenettes or full kitchens. All are supplied with towels, bedding, firewood, privacy, daily housekeeping service, and fresh air that guarantees restful sleep. Please note that some of these cabins are almost 100 years old and some are almost new, but all share the ambience of a gracious by-gone time. Don't expect a TV or air-conditioner. You won't need either one. Cabin guests enjoy the use of all resort facilities.

Two Bedroom Rustic Cabin:
Two sleeping rooms, full kitchen, living room, shower/tub combination. Bedroom has one double bed, day area has two twin beds, living area has queen sofa sleeper. Sleeps 6.

Three Bedroom Rustic Cabin:
Three bedrooms, full kitchen, living room, stone fireplace, TV, two bathrooms. One bathroom has a shower (master bath), second bathroom has a shower/tub combination. Master bedroom has a queen bed, second bedroom has two double beds, third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds. Sleeps 10.
