CONFIRMATION DEPOSIT
Your deposit is a Security Deposit and is due at the time the reservation is made, and does not apply toward the rental fee. Your deposit will be refunded when the boat is returned on time and in the same condition as checked out.
RESERVATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please verify that the information is correct on your reservation. A reservation is confirmed only after the receipt of all requested deposits by the date(s) shown on the reservation. Failure to pay deposits and any balance due by the due dates will result in the loss of your reservation. Upon the receipt of all your deposits you will receive a written confirmation and receipt by mail. We reserve the right to substitute rental equipment when necessary.
The balance of your basic rental fees, sales tax, and any optional insurance are due no later than the due date indicated on the reservation agreement. Acceptable forms of payment for all deposits and rental amounts are: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover Credit Cards. For your protection any payments made by credit card will require that the card holder personally sign the credit slip. Failure to provide a signature for any deposit or payment may result in the loss of your reservation. All payments are subject to the following cancellation policy.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you must cancel, you must notify us in writing, at least 45 days before your departure date. Your deposit will be refunded less a $150.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations received between 30-44 days before departure are subject to a $500.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations received less than 30 days before scheduled departure are subject to forfeiture of the total prepayment.
If you must reschedule your vacation or change your equipment rental during the same year, there is a $50.00 change fee when the original departure date is more than 45 days in advance. Any rescheduling requests 44 days or less before the original departure date will be treated as a cancellation. We regret that we cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies as a cause for cancellation. For this reason, we recommend SAME TRIP COVERAGE which can be purchased for $150.00, or check with your travel agent. This covers your non-refundable payments should you have to cancel your trip.
FULL PAYMENT
Is required 45 days prior to boarding your houseboat.
PRIOR TO BOARDING
Before departing the docks, you and one other adult will be required to complete our Captain's Course and Orientation. You must also sign a rental agreement that includes an Acknowledgement of Risks and Release of Liability. Declining to execute this agreement will result in the cancellation of your agreement.
AGREEMENT
I agree to rent a houseboat for the dates and times as listed in the Reservation Agreement attached, I further agree to the TERMS AND CONDITIONS INCLUDING THE CANCELLATION POLICY as stated above. I agree to forward all payments by the due dates shown.
Houseboats cannot be operated in the London Bridge Channel, Copper Canyon, and any up river area beyond Lake Havasu. I also understand that pets, extra fuel, firearms, fireworks, launching of water balloons, adding extra persons above the maximum capacity and operating the houseboat after dark is cause for deposit and boat forfeiture and all remaining rental fees paid and deposits paid will be forfeited. I attest that I am at least 21 years of age and will show proof with a valid driver's license at the time of rental.
CHECK IN
Check in at the rental office upon arrival. Houseboat should be returned to marina refueled, pumped out and unloaded no later than 2 p.m. of the last day. We offer several boating schedules to accommodate your vacation requirements. Please refer to the chart to plan your vacation. All houseboats are rented by the day.
MINIMUM RENTAL
All houseboats are rented by the day with a minimum three day rental. NO REBATES for late arrival or early returns.
ACCEPTABLE RENTAL & DEPOSIT PAYMENT
Cash, money order, cashier’s check, traveler’s check, MasterCard, VISA, Discover or American Express. No personal checks or debit cards accepted.
OPERATION
Customer is checked out on all procedures at the marina. No special boat license is needed, only respect for size of craft, its engines, basic boating rules and courtesy.
RENTALS
Are limited to adults age 21 and older with valid automobile driver's license.
GENERAL FEATURES
Houseboats include Sundeck, Waterslide, swimming platform, dual gas engines, VHF radio, barbeque grill, electrical generator, central heating & air conditioning, safety railings, water heater.
The all-weather cabin features storage areas, dinette seating, privacy curtains, queen beds and a queen sofa sleeper. Kitchen includes microwave, range & oven, refrigerator, blender, toaster and coffee maker. Safety features aboard: fire extinguishers, CO and smoke detectors, life preservers, sound device & night lights as required by the Coast Guard.
SUPPLIES INCLUDE
Bed Linens, silverware, cooking utensils, plates, cups, garbage can and liners, bucket, mop, dust pan, broom and vacuum.

LIFE JACKETS
We provide 12 adult life jackets aboard each houseboat. If you require smaller jackets for children aboard, please request jackets from our office upon check in. In addition all children under the age of 13 must wear a life jacket while the houseboat is under way. There is a large fine if you are stopped by law enforcement on the lake for failing to do so. Small children should be escorted on an off the boat at all times.
WHAT TO BRING
The necessary items to bring are your food and beverages. Also any personal items that are important to you. Don't forget sunscreen and sunglasses. Bring what you desire, but remember, sometimes packing too many things can create a bit of clutter. We recommend planning your menu in advance and bringing only what is essential.
For leisure times you may wish to bring that book you have been wanting to read, fishing equipment, favorite board games or a deck of playing cards. The houseboats have a stereo cd player on board, so remember to bring a selection of cd's. T.V. reception is very limited. There is a VCR so bring video cassettes. The 75' has a DVD player.
In the great outdoors, a good pair of shoes is essential for land exploration, binoculars and a camera with plenty of film. Other outdoor items that could be packed are water toys, rafts, balls, and beach towels.
Our houseboats are equipped with all the basic utensils that you need. However you may wish to bring a favorite griddle or pan for cooking, or cut back on kitchen duties by packing picnic supplies such as paper plates and cups. Weather permitting, top deck sleeping can be very comfortable, a good air mattress can come in handy.
