Pet Policy

Togwotee's commitment to service and the friendliness of their staff combine with the comfortable, relaxed atmosphere to make sure that your summer vacation spot at Togwotee Mountain Lodge will be unmatched.

 

Togwotee welcomes guests with year-round western adventure. Togwotee is a full-service mountain resort catering to individuals and families who want to enjoy the beauty, take advantage of the numerous activities, or just sit in the shade and relax.

 

The full-service lodge offers a beautiful dining room, the newly expanded Red Fox saloon, and 35 modern guest rooms. The lodge interior is finished in white pine trim, giving it a warm, western feel.

 

Accommodations:

 

Lodge Rooms - (28 Lodge Rooms)

The lodge rooms are all located on the second floor of the main lodge. They have two queen sized beds, a cable television, coffee maker, hair dryer, telephone and private bathroom. The lodge rooms have views of the national forest.

 

Suites - (6 Suites)

Suites at Togwotee are located on the third floor of the main lodge.The suites have a living room with TV, also mini-refrigerators and a small microwave and coffee maker. The suites are not equipped with dishes so you will have to supply your own. They each have a queen sized bed and a set of twin sized bunk beds, sectioned off by a set of curtains. The suite also has a large walk-in closet and a private bathroom, which is divided into two parts. One part has a sink and a commode and the other half has a sink and a full bath.

 

Cabins - (54 Cabins)

Togwotee Cabins are nestled in the pines away from the lodge. Cabins include a small living room with a full sized sleeper sofa, a small kitchenette (with a small microwave, two burner stove, small refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes, pots, pans and utensils),a private bathroom, and a bedroom with two queen sized beds. The cabin also offers a telephone and two cable equipped televisions, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. Twenty of the cabins have fireplaces, two of which are handicap Accessible ( they only have one queen size bed.) All of the cabins have views of the national forest.

Summer Activities:


HORSEBACK RIDING IN THE TETON WILDERNESS

Join the elk, deer, moose, and other wildlife as you ride your own horse into the wilderness. Whether taking a two-hour or half day riding trip, you’ll want your camera to help you remember the beautiful wild flowers, the bird and animal life, the towering cliffs and mountain streams.

 

Never ridden a horse before? Don’t worry! We have horses that will match the riding ability of your whole family. Must be at least 5 years of age to go on horseback rides.

 

GRAND TETON COVERED WAGON COOKOUTS
If you're looking to escape the crowds and enjoy a real western experience then Grand Teton Covered Wagon Cookouts is for you! Togwotee's wagons will take you on a comfortable thirty minute ride through the splendor of Buffalo Valley. Your destination is an isolated aspen grove where you will experience one of the best rib-eye steak dinners this country has to offer. Topping off dinner is true cowboy entertainment that is sure to get your toe tapping before you take the scenic ride back to your car. You'll find that with Grand Teton Cookouts the groups are small and the steaks are big. Just the way it should be in Big Wyoming!

 

FISHING THE LOCAL WATERS
Try your hand at the kid-friendly fishing pond or explore the famous streams of Jackson Hole and the surrounding mountains. Guided fishing trips to the Snake River leave daily throughout the season. No experience required.

 

HIKING WYOMING
Pack your lunch, head out the back door and hike into some of the 2.5 million acres of public lands surrounding Togwotee Mountain Lodge. Hike down to a picnic beside the Buffalo Fork River, a pristine mountain river with its origins in Yellowstone. Or, take the challenge and climb up nearby Angle Mountain where you’ll be able to see Jackson Hole, Yellowstone County, the Continental Divide and the surrounding Teton, Gros Ventre, Wind River, and Absarokas mountain ranges.

 

MOUNTAIN BIKING TOURS
Numerous trails leave from your doorstep into the neighboring National Forest. If you’re experienced you can go it alone. Or, we can put you touch with a local mountain bike touring company that can find the right trip for you, whether you’re a beginner or advanced.

Tucked away on the third floor of our lodge are our newly renovated “family bunk rooms”. With 300 square feet of area perfect for a family of 4-6, our family bunk rooms offer:

  • One pillow-top queen size bed
  • One bunk bed with two twin size beds
  • One sleeper sofa, which pulls out to a double size bed

Our newly renovated family bunks are the perfect lodging accommodation for a rustic family vacation, complete with all new carpet, bedding, a 26 inch flat screen television, microwave, and dorm size refrigerator.

 

Cabins
Charming, rustic, and perfectly in tune with their surroundings, the cabins at Togwotee Mountain Lodge are ideal for nature-lovers, outdoors people, and romantics.

Each log cabin features:

  • Two queen size beds in the bedroom
  • Full size sofa sleeper in the living room

  • Two color cable televisions - one in the front room and one in the bedroom

The cabins are an easy walk of each other, nestled among the piney woods, and all include a charcoal grill on the front porch and picnic tables nearby.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy:
The deposit for room only reservations is the amount equivalent to the 1st nights stay plus tax. If a guest cancels outside of 7 days from the reserved arrival date 95% of the deposit will be refunded. Any cancellation or portions of a confirmed reservation, which is cancelled within 7 days, will forfeit the deposit.
