Maswik Lodge

Maswik Lodge is located in a wooded area near the rim of the Grand Canyon, inside the park. If you're not up to walking, you can catch a free shuttle directly in front of the lodge that will take you right to the rim. The Maswik Lodge has a cafeteria, sports bar, and gift shop.

Maswik is an especially good choice for families, as all rooms offer two queen-size beds, a full bath, telephone and television. The size of the guestrooms at Maswik vary depending on which area of the lodge you are staying in.

The accommodations in the north section of the lodge are more spacious than those in the southern section and they feature amenities such as in-room coffee makers, refrigerator, air conditioning, safe, cable TV, telephone and some rooms offer a king bed rather than the standard two-queen beds. Also several of the rooms in the north portion of the lodge include private balconies, and forest views, making them among the most pleasant in the park.

Rooms in the south section are motel-style rooms which each offer two queen beds, a full private bath, telephone and television.

During summer, Maswik also rents out guest rooms in ten rustic cabins. Like the standard lodge rooms these rustic cabins have mostly two queen beds although some just offer two double beds. The cabins are equipped with ceiling fans and private shower as well as telephone and televisions.

If you're staying anywhere at Maswik, bring a flashlight, as the area is dark at night.

In-park accommodations are always a good choice for visitors to Grand Canyon who plan on exploring as much of the natural wonders of the park as they can fit into their vacation. Having nearby lodging after a long day of sightseeing and activities is a real benefit as anyone who’s been there before knows.
