Many Glacier Hotel
Many Glacier Hotel is located along the shores of Swiftcurrent Lake inside Glacier National Park. The great northern railroad built this historic hotel in 1915 to accommodate the many tourists passing through Glacier National Park. Many Glacier Hotel is built in the Swiss Chalet style and the Swiss theme is carried through the interior of the hotel as well.
This quaint hotel offers world famous scenery, with panoramic views of nearby Grinnell Point and Mt. Henkel, keep visitors coming back. Both of these spots are some of the park's best locations for taking pictures at sunrise and spotting mountain goats, big horn sheep, and bears.
Standard guest rooms at the Many Glacier Hotel are equipped double and twin beds, and in-room bathrooms. All rooms and facilities at Many Glacier Hotel are non-smoking. A cozy sitting area in the massive lobby makes the perfect setting for fireside socializing, reading and writing postcards.
Many Glacier Hotel, built in 1914 and 1915, is the largest hotel in the park with 208 rooms. Its design was modeled after Swiss chalets and the Swiss theme is carried throughout the hotel. Guests at the Many Glacier Hotel will find standard rooms with double and twin beds (none of which will sleep over four).
The Ptarmigan Dining Room features large picture windows that look out at Glacier's majestic peaks providing a very Swiss Alpine atmosphere for your dining pleasure. Continental and American cuisine is served, as is a full breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner.
All rooms have double and/or twin beds, private bathroom, direct dial telephone and bell service is available. Rooms are rustic yet comfortable and spread out over five levels. Rooms are accessible via staircase. Many rooms look out over Swiftcurrent lake, other rooms have varying views of the surrounding mountain scenery.
Suites are two room units that have a king bed in one room and a double in a second room. Suites offer a non-working fireplace, shared balcony, sofa and coffee table.

* Deposit Policy:
- Accommodations: Advanced deposit per room in the amount of first nights stay is required at time of booking.
- Tours/Activities: Advanced deposit in the amount of entire tour/activity is due at the time of booking.
* Cancellation Policy:
- Deposits are non-refundable if the reservation is cancelled after 5:00 pm MDT 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date. No exceptions.
- Deposits are fully refundable for 30 days following the date that the reservation was made. Starting from 31 days after the reservation was made until three days prior to the scheduled arrival date the deposit will be refunded less the following administration fees:
- Cancelling a room 30 days after reservation was made will incur a $15 fee/confirm #
- Cancelling an activity or tour 30 days after the reservation was made will incur a $15 fee/confirm #
- Cancelling a room with activities/tours included will incur a $20 fee/confirm #
- For reservations made within 30 days prior to arrival, the above policy applies without the 30-day grace period.
- Changes to your departure date made after you have stayed your first night will result in a $30 early departure fee
- No-show on your date of arrival is concidered a cancellation of you entire stay at that property and there will be no refund.
- No-show for any tours/activities booked will not be refunded
- These policies apply even in cases of poor weather, illness, flight delays, road closures, etc. It is strongly recommended that you obtain travel insurance.
Making changes to your reservation, activity or tour
- One complimentary change is granted per confirmation #
- After one complimentary change, each call to make changes to that confirmation number will be subject to a $15 administrative change fee. This included changes to activities associated with that confirmation number.
