Glacier Cabins offers visitors to Glacier National Park a comfortable and convenient lodging option. You have your choice of a cabin that sleeps 2, 4 or 5. All cabins have private bathrooms and satellite television, deck and chairs for a relaxing stay. In addition each cabin has a gas grill and picnic table. A fire pit on the property makes for a fun time recalling the day’s adventures as you sit by a cozy open fire under a sky full of stars.
Glacier Cabins is located in Martin City, MT 10 minutes from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. Glacier National Park is a pristine wonderland in northwestern Montana. Visitors here enjoy many outdoor activities that include hiking, rock climbing, and rafting the gorgeous Middle and North Forks of the Flathead River. Glacier adjoins its neighbor, the Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta, Canada, to form the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park, a world first.

Martin City itself is located in northwestern area of Montana, south of Glacier National Park, just east of Whitefish. Martin City began with the Hungry Horse Dam Project in 1947. The east side of Hungry Horse Reservoir Road begins at Martin City. Many camping, hiking and fishing opportunities can be found along this road. The road ends at Spotted Bear Ranger Station at the entrance to the Bob Marshall Wilderness area.
If you have time when visiting the area you should spend at least 1 day exploring the Bob (as it is locally known). The Wilderness, which includes the North and South Forks of the Sun River and the Middle and South Forks of the Flathead River, runs for 60 miles along the Continental Divide. A huge escarpment called the Chinese Wall, a part of the Divide, highlights the Bob's vast untrammeled beauty. The Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex (which encompasses Bob Marshall, Scapegoat, and Great Bear Wildernesses) is habitat for the grizzly bear, lynx, mountain lion, wolf, black bear, moose, mountain sheep, mountain goat, elk and a variety of other birds, mammals and plants.
