Glacier Park

Glacier Park located in northwestern Montana has many interesting sights that the other national parks don't have. The best time to visit Glacier Park depends entirely on what you are looking for. The most temperate climate exists from mid-June to mid-September. These are peak months and though Glacier Park gets more than 2 million visitors per year it is still a far cry from other tourist destinations, and you will find much pleasure in hiking these trails, taking a guided tour of Going-to-the-Sun road or boating. In the winter you will find much more solitude but plenty of activity if you enjoy or want to take up cross country skiing, snowshoeing, or just terrific scenery.
