Glacier National Park MT | Glacier National Park Lodging |

Ask anyone who has visited and they will tell you that Glacier National Park is one of the most breathtakingly beautiful national parks in the western United States. Boasting an incredible array of awe-inspiring geography, unforgettable scenery, amazing wildlife, and exhilarating adventure, Glacier National Park is impossible not to fall in love with.
With over 700 miles of hiking and biking trails, Glacier is a hiker’s nirvana. You will find a multitude of hiking opportunities no matter what level of adventure you are looking for. Glacier Park offers everything from short hikes that can be finished in less than an hour, to moderate day hikes, to extended overnight backcountry hikes. A few of the hiking options such as Trail of the Cedars even offer wheelchair access.
For those who prefer motor power over foot power, Glacier Park is the home to one of the most beautiful stretches of highway in the continental United States. The Going-to-the-Sun-Road could easily be considered the eight wonder of the world. Etched right into the side of some of the most rugged and intimidating glacier-carved peaks that North America has to offer, this fifty-plus mile stretch of highway provides some of the most spectacular vistas and panoramas that you will ever see.
For those who may not feel comfortable driving on the side of a mountain at higher elevations, (or those who just want to save on gas) the Glacier Park Service has recently introduced a free public transit system which runs regular tram service approximately every half hour from West Glacier to Logan Pass, (the highest point along the going-to-the-sun-road), and from Logan Pass down the East Side to St. Mary. This new public transit service has become a very popular addition to the park as it is not only convenient, but free for everyone.
With more than 1.4 million acres of pristine scenery, wildlife and adventure, Glacier National Park is a vacation destination which will be hard to leave, and impossible to forget.
