Denali Excursion Tour: |
Depart from our heliport overlooking the beautiful Nenana River for the 50-minute Denali Excursion Tour. Travel along the spine of the Alaska Range through the unexplored mountainous backcountry of towering peaks and ancient glaciers in search of majestic Mt. McKinley.
Highlights of the Denali Excursion:
- Examine the fascinating geological features of the Polycrome Mountains and turquoise lakes left by receding glaciers

No trip to Alaska is complete without this experience. Your tour begins by following the Yanert Valley east to the base of 13,500-foot Mt. Deborah. With ice falls cascading down, the view is absolutely breathtaking. Land on the Yanert Glacier and listen to your pilot as he describes the history of the area while standing on ice thousands of years old.
