Olympic Spring Wildflowers
By late March spring flowers are beginning to bloom in the lowlands of Olympic National Park. The range of precipitation and topography on the Peninsula create an incredible variety of habitats. On March 27th you will have the opportunity to join naturalist Janis Burger and follow the wildflower season from Ediz hook to high mountain peaks on this illustrated sampling of Olympics diverse flora.
The event, named A Wildflower Primer: Sampling the Peninsula`s Plant Diversity takes place from 7-8 p.m. at the Olympic National Park Visitor Center. The event is free to the public.Â
