Lake Powell Winter Events

Lake Powell National Park is located in Southwest Utah, on the edge of the Colorado Plateau. Although summers have the highest visitation at this destination more people should consider making this their winter getaway! While summer temperatures average range 110° F (38°C) in June & July, the weather is considerably more bearable in the winter, when average day time temps are 45 degrees (F).Â
There are many winter activities. And while you can still enjoy a stay on the lake in a houseboat you might also enjoy some of these events that are going on in January and February of 2008.
