January Yosemite National Park Events
In winter months Yosemite National Park turns into a veritable Winter-wonderland. Here you will find the majesty found in the park year round covered with a magical dusting of ice crystals and soft, white snow. Yosemite is open year round and you may enter the park 24 hours a day. The entrance fee to Yosemite National Park is $20 per vehicle and is good for seven days. Reservations are not needed to enter the park. Private vehicles are allowed to drive into and around Yosemite Valley.

Chef’s Holiday
This extremely popular event combines the beauty and grace of The Ahwahnee with superb culinary delights not usually on the menu. Each session features a different guest chef. The event starts with a reception where you can meet the chef. Then you are treated to a cooking demonstration and tour of the kitchen. The session will end with an exquisite Chef’s Banquet consisting of a remarkable five-course meal complete with fine wines. This event is held each year on selected dates in January and February. This event fills fast and reservations are a must, tickets are about $140.

Sleigh Rides
A sleigh ride is a great way to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of Yosemite. This large wooden sleigh with seating for 10-12 people is pulled by a beautiful team of Belgian draft horses. The ride will take participants down Jackson Road, which is an historic route. Be sure to watch for the wildlife that inhabits the area during the winter months. Rides are scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays November- January only. Adults $20, children $15.
