Cruise Shenandoah This Fall

Filed under: Uncategorized — National Park Reservations @ 10:45 am

Virginia’s Shenandoah National Park is one of the top 10 national parks in which to view fall foliage. This is the time of year that most visitors enjoy coming here for beautiful sights and fun activities.

Fall colors usually reach their peak in Virginia’s far western regions, where Shenanadoah is located, from the begining to the mid-end of October. The mountains see peak colors from October 15th through 25th.

These dates are approximate and are affected by the year’s rainfall and temperature. The colors make for stunning visual imput as well as wonderful photographs and great memories.

One of the best ways to see the foliage is on a bike trip along Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park, all paved. There are bike tours available or you can take your bike and head out on your own adventure!

National Park Reserations offers lodging a dozen properties both inside and outside the park. For more information and to make your fall reservations log onto: www.nationalparkreservations.com/shenandoah.htm or give us a call toll free at 1-866-875-8456 today.
